This basic training for CWICs will instruct you where to find the various kinds of Indian-related income and resources in the online POMs. We will start with the SSA home page, and walk through all the relevant links and pages to give you the information you need as you serve people from various tribes and villages. You will learn about the various sources of Indian-related income and resources; how to verify them; how to navigate the POMs online; and what other policy links are on the SSA website. In addition to the PowerPoint, you will receive a collection of the POMS Indian-related income and resource policies, as well as added supporting explanatory documents.
